Ok I know it's a little way off yet but if your memory is anything like mine it's good to have a list of things to bring with you to the trackday in April.
this is a list JUST for the trackday itself NOT for the nights camping before OK ?
In no particular order
I'll start it off and if I miss anything off PLEASE PLEASE add it .

MOST IMPORTANT TAKE BOTH PARTS OF YOUR LICENCE !

1. You - As you will be needed to ride number 2.

2. The Bike - So number 1 has got something to ride

3. Keys - very important

4. Alarm fob - as important as the keys

5. Extra fuel - don't want to run out and it might be expensive at the track if there is some there.

6. Leathers - 1 piece or 2 piece zip together at least 180 degrees.

7. Helmet - ACU gold stickered please (no simpson Bandits !)

8. Boots - keep those tootsies safe

9. Gloves - keep those pinkies safe aswell

10. Tyre warmers - Very useful if you have them, to stop cold tyre mishaps

11. Generator - for the tyre warmers as Cadwell hasn't got pits to plug them in

12. Paddock stands - front and rear if your using tyre warmers

13. Tools - just the basics no need for impact drivers and windy guns !

14. Gaffa tape - for taping lights, fairing panels and small children down

15. Kettle - and all associated items (tea, coffee, milk, sugar, water)

16. Snacks - to keep energy levels up

17. Bottled water - to keep fluid levels up

18. Camera - to preserve the day for posterity(plus spare batteries)

19. Video camera - as above

20. Ear plugs .......I always lose 1, so a spare pair too

21. Anti fog visor spray or visor insert

22. Cable ties various sizes, handy to put things back together if anything breaks

23. Any spares ie footrests again just incase

24. Map, if no gps (well I used to need one anyway)

25. Consumables like oil, chain lube etc

26. Foot pump

27. tyre pressure guage

28. wets on wheels ! + spare tyres

29. Money !!!

30. spare knee sliders in case you loose any or wear them out ??

31. spare brake/clutch levers "just in case"

32. Something to sit on between track sessions ....Fold-away chairs type of thing

33. Spare T shirt, a towel, and some BO basher

34. Back protector - Very useful bit of kit

I know your not that fast Tink but I'm sure we won't need sleeping bags while we wait for you to finish you laps
As I said in the first post (don't you just love it when people post without reading the first post) this is for the trackday itself not the night before !

Jase

i think number 20 needs moving up the list or at least make it nice and bold.

if people forget the other things (bar number 1 and 2) then they will still be able to get on track, no licence though and they are done for.

Something very important to remember at a track day!!!!

There is always, somebody quicker than you, and always someone slower, so one thing you don't need to take, is your ego.

Something I always forget, which I kick myself for, is my extension lead for my warmers.

Spare T shirt, a towel, and some BO basher in case your lucky enough to have a hot sunny day, and nobody want's to hang around people dripping with sweat at dinner time.

If the one in the village is closed heres the next closest one to caddy
From Cadwell , turn right out the gate
Follow that road till you come to Louth bypass
Straight over the staggered t-junction
Follow that road for about a mile to traffic lights
Straight over at the lights
Esso garage on your left after 1/4 mile
Open from 7 am till 11pm

PS Turn left at traffic lights then right just after zebra crossing and that takes you right into town centre

Plenty of decent chippies, indians, chinese, thai and cantonese takeaways/restaurants
Bonus = Louth has alot of pubs as well

Anyone bringing fuel in cans should bring a fire extinguisher too. Some folks will have em (I always take one) but best not to rely on others.
