If anyone wants to join me and a few of my friends they are more than welcome.. Initial plans are underway. There is a mixture of cars and bikes going, maybe 3 or each so far.
I choose this weekend as the ring is open all day Sat and Sun, giving loads of track time :dance2:
The plan is to travel out on Eurotunnel Friday 22nd June, getting a late afternoon train approx 16:30. This will get us into Calais for 17:15 or so.
Travel down to Nurburg, should take approx 4hours, depending on size of group and weather/traffic.
Staying at Gasthaus Lindenhoff in Nurburg, only 2mins from track entrance. Its cheap, last trip was £60 each (2 nights,2 dinners, 2 breakfasts + beers!), comfortable and the people are friendly (based on 2 people sharing a twin room).
Travel back on the Monday morning, getting a midday train.
Lap tickets are up this year to
64euro 4 laps,
124euro 8 laps
220euro 15 laps
345euro 25 laps
All levels are welcome, from the fastest to the slowest, as long as everyone has fun. To give you an idea, we are all intermediate trackday riders, so fairly fast pace.
Most of the people going have got experience on the ring, so there will always be someone available to take a newbie round if they want.
I dont want the hassle of organising this trip, so will just be arranging times to meet, the place to stay and times so we can all travel together. Just want as many of you as possible to experience the ring :a13:
Ohh, heres a spreadsheet of the track opening times for your perusal
