Rumours of Neil Nodgson's return to the World Superbike paddock were circulating the paddock at Qatar.
The 2003 World Champion has yet to secure a ride for this season however he could be thrown a life line by the Yamaha France squad. It is thought that team manger Martial Garcia is keen to snare another rider for his team should a suitable sponsorship deal fall into place.
Garcia is only interested in a high level rider to run along side Shinichi Nakatomi. Should the deal come off it is likely that Hodgson will make his return to the World Superbike paddock - following an absence of three years – at the first European round held at Donington Park.
