Giovanni Bussei will enter the 2007 SBK World Superbike Championship, for two races at least. At Donington, the first European event of the championship, he will be on track with the Sterilgarda GMB team, a squad that he has ridden with four times before.
Bussei will run in the colours of sponsor Alfa Romeo and will ride a Ducati 999 F06 with traction control, the same as used by Ruben Xaus. Bussei will be at the official FGSport tests in Valencia on the 18th and 19th of March to prepare for his Donington outings.
