Frenchman Mike di Meglio will make his return to the 125cc world championship at the next round in Turkey after undergoing a successful operation on his broken collarbone.
The 19-year-old Team Scot Honda rider missed the Spanish race after sustaining the operation in qualifying at Jerez, but will be back in double quick time after being given the all-clear by doctors.
"The operation was good, in the next days the doctors will say me if I can ride in Turkey, as I wish," said di Meglio,
"I don't remember anything about the Jerez crash, I think it's a risk of this sport and I'm not scared about this, indeed I look forward to race as soon as possible!"
Di Meglio's return could not be more perfectly planned as he will get back in the saddle at the circuit where he took his only world championship win in 2005.
Team Scot also confirmed that Italian Dino Lombardi, 16, who raced for them on a wildcard basis in Spain, will now remain with the squad for the rest of the season.
