Gregorio Lavilla headed the pack during free practice two aboard his Airwaves Ducati at Hampshire's high speed circuit of Thruxton.
He beat the hard riding Tommy Hill on his Virgin Media Optoma Loans Yamaha into second place. Johnny Rea on the HM Plant Honda was pushed down the order to third place along side his team-mate Ryuichi Kiyonari who finished fourth.
Bike Animal Honda's Leon Camier headed off Leon Haslam for fifth place with fellow Superbike rookie Cal Crutchlow on the Rizla Suzuki in seventh. Team-mates Shane Byrne and Tom Sykes on their Stobart Vent Axia Honda's were in eighth and ninth places respectively. While Karl Harris on the Hydrex Honda rounded out the top ten.
