Ok after the huge excitement Cadwell has caused among members and the fantastic response, I have had several people saying come on lets do it all again

whos up for a 2nd Junkies day

29th June, Donington Full GP circuit, Full Noise £165 less Junkies discount will confirm exact price with Mark from No Limits

and if you dont fancy the whole day they are Doing the Friday evening for £75 ( Less Discount ) but that is a QUIET evening

Ride the circuit just days after the Gods of Moto GP have been there

Situated just off junction 23A of the M1. Home to the Moto Grand Prix and not just one of our favourite tracks, it’s Rossi’s as well. Craner Curves gets the heart racing to say the least. Smoothness is the key here as one corner leads into another, if you get one wrong, it affects the next two!! Completely resurfaced in January, the grip is good and Frank in charge of pit lane is a real gem!!

Fast group for me, and after speaking to No Limits about Zukis maiden voyage at Cadwell, she's going to do a couple of session in the novice to find her way around, and then move to inters if she's comfy. (no pressure there chick, as long as you kick ass, or you'll be walking home :lol:)

Donnys a funny place, and some days the groups run faster or slower from whats written on the tin, and like every track day, it all depends who else your sharing the track with in terms of pace.:D

Normally 65 a group at Donny, and as far as I know it's a free for all.

With Cadwell, because we got in before they went on general sale No Limits held me the entire Novice and Inters for about a month before the details went public

this one has been released a fair while I understand that there will be a couple of other web forums there in the guise of McNinjas and Superbikes Forum

I'm really looking forward to this -- Donnington is a great track, lots of corners are very similar to corners on roads I ride. I think this time, i'll be in trouble if I get my exhaust can down on the ground, the Phantom has far more clearance than the Ace ever could have!! LOL

It's a smooth widish track, absolutely fantastic ... be very interested in seeing how my sessions compare on the Phantom to what they did on the Ace ... mind you I was hung-over and heavily dehydrated when I did the track day on the Ace ... don't plan on being like that again for the next track day. :lol:

For me, I just found Donny to be very similar to roads that I already knew, the corners I could place to other corners on other roads I did ... ok, perhaps with the exception of Melbourne loop ... but even that is like going into a large roundabout and coming back on yourself....

the track is wide and smooth.... sooooo looking forward to it!!

Last time i went to DOnny we camped just inside the gates at the Melbourne loop there was no charge but there are no facilities !! tere are a couple of B&B close by though

There's a cracking biker pub just down the road lovely food and they do B&B but I can't remember what it's called D'oh. My mother in law works for the holiday Inn which is where I stayed last time it's about 5mins away and only cost me and the missus £10 for the night.
The south west crew are traveling up on the day think scotty said leaving 3:30am because we are hardcore!!! warning to everyone I'm either really hyper or really grumpy when I'm tired there is no inbetween.:D

I normally get there about 7 ish, which is the earliest they'll let you through the gate, and I've never had trouble getting a garage yet.

I'm pretty sure they'd let you on with a 125, it costs £160 for the day at donnington.
Are you on L plates or do you have a restricted lisence? Some circuits require a full lisence but donnington does'nt.

Anyone can turn up to watch at a trackday. With full access to pits you can watch from pit wall or anywhere you fancy.

Hi Matt. Yes its free to watch. full access to pitlane,garages anywhere on the circuit you want to get to. -
Watch from pitwall or sit (on your own :lol:) in the grandstand!

Ihave posted before about RH race school - plenty been said - click the search.
But IMO you will learn more riding your own bike on a trackday.
More tracktime, costs less, more fun.
Novice group at your own pace, with free instructors if you want them.
Come along to Doni and chat to people - its not half as scary as you think. but it is twice as much fun as you think !

yeah and there is an evening session that day too for not much dosh so could do a taster ( guarantee you will be hooked )

Evening sessions at Donny are subject to Noise testing though 105db i think ( my K5 with full Akrapovic system was measured at snetterton the other week and was bang on 100db that was without the baffle fitted :)

Was talking to someone in the know today about this track day, and have it on good advice that so many people wanted to book inters, No Limits have been forced to move peeps around a bit.

The novice will be quicker than norm because there'll be lots of inters in there, which is good in one way, but bad if you frighten easily! :lol:

Inters will be plain inters, which is cool.

Fast will have people that normally ride inters, which is pants IMO, cos if I wanted inters pace, I would of booked inters!:mad:
