Club racing

After doing a few track days followed by A few race schools,and reading all the great reports of people having a go for the 1st time. I`ve got the bug , and although I think it will be too late for this year, I would love to have a go at racing, just club level I think, I live in Lancashire, what and where are my local clubs?.and how do I get in touch with them?

You will love it, i got my 2nd race in the next few weeks, cant wait.

Im with the Wirral 100 Club and they race at oulton park and anglesey, i thought of these as a start for this year then will expand next year depending how i got on this year, plus obviously for my first year i didnt want to stretch my wallet to much while still getting used to it all.

Any questions i will answer best i can, since im fresh to it myself. :D

Loving it matt, only done 3 meets so far, next one is the end of next month (anglesey grand) so cant wait for that one, 2 days of racing.

Next year looking to upgrade my bike to a K6 600, i feel pretty confident so far even with the K1 and i know i still got alot to learn but if i have somethin better under me i can hopefully be more competetive.

acu monday ..going to watch meet some emra lads on the 2rd sept .first race 30th mallory spot on ...i cant wait ... glad ya having a good time dude so what 600 class ya doing ?? going to do road stock and when in the swing do newcomers aswell..so thats 4 races a day

Im up at aintree in liverpool at the weekend but just to watch and to see if i can pick up some cheap tyres, im only racing in the formula 600's so with the Wirral 100 club im limited to 2 races per meet, although im gonna do aintree next year to have enough meets under my belt to upgrade my licence and there is more classes i can enter there, minium amount of races i could do in a day i think is 4 at aintree.

Its all about money though, would of done more this year if i had the money, but i think next year i will have more of a clue, be better set up (proper race colours, etc) and will hopefully have some more money to play with for track time.

Once i have my clubman licence i intend on joining a bigger club and do some more races up and down the country (well thats the plan anyway).
