Nice find, and seems kinda reasonable considering the level of risk!
I can't find the cost of the excess though...

Foung these a little while back should have posted it, sorry:b2:
Will be using them for my track day on the 31st, will let you know if I have any problems.
If you know your gonna do more than one it gets cheaper the more you cover.
Yeah I just found it surfing around. Seems you can only insure a bike over £2500 though

i just ran a quote on a k6 600:
total loss cover including fairings for 1 trackday
came in at 140.00
not bad if you only do a couple a year considering you stand to lose 5-6k

Which company? The link to the website does not give the option to insure the 'pretty bits' the fairing etc

I believe express do it only if you have yearly insurance with them, tried to get it but as I do not have a garage they wouldn't touch me. Some one on the this site thought they only did notal loss and not repairs but not sure if that is true.
well, how was the track day ?

Well I didn't need the insurance thank God, so thats £230 down the drain : ) The Track day was excellent, didn't get my knee down but will be doing other days for sure, so hopefully it will come. I have some picture here, not that they're that exciting ;)

Cheers mate, was practising position today in my jeans and could easily get my knee out (not down, I like my jeans and my knees too). I was thinking that maybe my leathers jeans are very restrictive. I know I was not sitting off the bike much but I was thinking that might be another factor, think I'm just making excuses though :D

got my knee down for 1st time yesterday fella and all I had to do was just do as I'd seen in vids etc and that is just have your 1 arse cheek on saddle ,weight the oposite peg and get your self far enough down that you are trying to see your ugly mug in the wing mirror. All you need then is a nice sweeping bend and it will come ;)

I added some Personal Injury insurance ... but i've got Health / Life assurance already from other sources ;)
cool, if I'd known I could have got a health ins plan for just £30 a month that would have got me about £200 a day while I was in hospital grrr  I' be rich, RICH I tell you ;)
