Shaun Harris is in a stable condition following a high-speed crash during the Superstock race at the Isle of Man TT on Tuesday.
Harris, a former TT race winner, came off his Suzuki in Union Mills, and was rushed to Noble's hospital in Braddan.
Aggie Caine, Clinical Manager at Noble's Hospital, told MCN this afternoon: "Mr Harris has pelvic and long bone injuries. He's stable but poorly."
Initially he was in a critical condition and it was thought he had suffered serious injuries and multiple fractures.
