Both the novice and fast have about 20 spaces left.
He's going to save us some garages again, I will call up closer to the time to find out which ones

If your talking about brands Indy the fast group should be circa 53's to 58's any slower and its best to be in the inters - I only know this from a timed day I done there a few months ago - best I could get was a 55's on road diablo's

If you can get under 1 minute then that would be a good start but the main thing is to enjoy yourself and learn about your bike, which is what a trackday will do - you'll come away smiling

No dizzyness fella but as its only really 5 corners (well that's my take on it) I think after the sighting lap you'll be hacking around like a pro - I also hear your not that slow ;)

Clearways will solve that problem for you fella and you will not even know your doing it until the little tug on the leg - the left might be the end of the day at Graham Hill but that strange as you knee floats over the rumble strip. A few people in the inters will touch down through paddock hill as well but that's a scary corner the first time you arrive there so be warned
When your on the track just ride the bike and forget about getting your knee down as trying to do it will mess up your line etc - just get into a flow and it will happen before you know it chap

You'll be lucky mate -- specially if you've got a dodgy knee!! Track days are well knackering.
After I got back from Donny on Saturday, next day I couldn't walk on my right leg at all - my muscle above my right knee just wouldn't work at all - any weight on my leg and my knee would crumple backwards .... it's ok now mind you!! lol

Well my knee was fine till I binned my K2 :rolleyes: Hoping it will be fine... it tends to only get hurty after long periods of time on the bike in one go.. so fingers crossed the breaks between sessions should see it ok :)
Acually having a mission to show a map that has the pub and brands on it in the same bit :HB: was going to cut and paste :lol:
Basically, if you go to brands from the M25, you come off and go across one roundabout and it goes dual carriageway for a bit and then single, going down hill.... then there's a roundabout (straight on for brands) with a garage on the right, if you turn right down there, it's about 100 yards on the left

Ok peoples, seriously considering this track day. I really really, really wanted Donny to be my first ever track day but i cant wait any longer. Not sure if its already in the thread but is there still places left in the lowest form of novice ever? Im a track day virgin dont you know? Anyway, Any info would be great. Full circuit? Cost? number of sessions etc?. Sorry but not sure if its all already in the thread

Since Sunday I now own, if they turn up from ebay wins: Both side fairings, top fairing, second left side fairing (by accident!!!), tank (not sure why??). Just need seat fairing and hopefully V fairing at front or what ever it is called! So Tweek I am trying!! If I get all of this I will book on the novices.
Just one thing!! This will be my second track day and hoping to stay upright or at least 45 degrees :) Peps seem to be talking about alot of racing!! Can I not be part of this, really don't want to bin my only mode of transport. Call me want you want :D

If you can pick up a spare top fairing cowl bracket on ebay I would - if you go down its normally this bracket that breaks so if your worried (which I think you are seeing all the spare fairing bits ;)) then I would try and get a 2nd bracket

Tried to get one and woosted out at £80 as I was worried it was be a bit bent, will be looking out for more. If I get all the fairing will spray it black, I think thats why I got the tank, (yes i know original). I also want to change the wheels to black in the long run too! If I can get the fairing looking good will run it like that full time on the road, so when I do trackdays I will not actually need to change anything.

I think a new bracket for the bike is only circa £110 - Redcar will probably be able to give you a good deal on one

I've got a bracket from a K1 600. Prob bent aswell but you can have it gratis. Might straighten up
Since Sunday I now own, if they turn up from ebay wins: Both side fairings, top fairing, second left side fairing (by accident!!!), tank (not sure why??). Just need seat fairing and hopefully V fairing at front or what ever it is called! So Tweek I am trying!! If I get all of this I will book on the novices.
Just one thing!! This will be my second track day and hoping to stay upright or at least 45 degrees :) Peps seem to be talking about alot of racing!! Can I not be part of this, really don't want to bin my only mode of transport. Call me want you want :D

Do a track day and test your abilities against yourself, dont race or any of that. once a bike is behind you you forget bout them and the next corner is your goal. Get on the day mate, you wont bin it if you dont push it harder than your confidence allows!
Ok peoples, seriously considering this track day. I really really, really wanted Donny to be my first ever track day but i cant wait any longer. Not sure if its already in the thread but is there still places left in the lowest form of novice ever? Im a track day virgin dont you know? Anyway, Any info would be great. Full circuit? Cost? number of sessions etc?. Sorry but not sure if its all already in the thread

There are still places in the novice but you'll have to book fast as they're going pretty quick.
So are Mark and Stu ;) so don't worry about it :D
Tis only the indi circuit, sessions are 20 mins on 40 off hour for lunch

Just to let you know, we're (Dave T & I) going to give it a miss as having done Donnington GP today we're going to do Brands GP in August instead. Another time perhaps.
You could always join us at Jerez in November; now that's a circuit :a1:
Lost... tis dead easy... go to gate say to little man... here for track day, he say... you know where you're going, you say no... he say follow road into pits ;)
Go straight on, past the stand on the right, kentagon on the left at the end, and into the paddock, down to the right and back on yourself to get into the tunnel to come across :D park up, find us :D
Or if its like last time, park at the top and walk round the stand, under the track and along to the right garage!
I'm def gonna be there, only watching tho and probably in the car.

looks like I'm only gonna be a pit monkey :( Ordered all fairing as of tonight (seat fairing) but the top has not arrived and the sides even though won over two weeks ago have not been sent as the seller is on a trip!! want a c#@t! Will bring camera and take some pics. So pissed off about it I will need a pint to calm myself down :) May go to brands on the 31st if the fairing ever comes.
Its gonna be a great day peeps, sign up before all the spaces have gone!
