Hello again everyone,

Well looking forward to the Donny trackday, hope the weather's good! And not just for you lot!! :lol:

I'll be coming up early in the day, and hopefully be there well in time for the first session, and staying until the end of the day. Hoping to have 8GB of memory cards, and looking to fill them with a better good-to-goof ratio than at Cadwell. :)

Got a 300mm lens and by the looks of the bridges over the track I may be able to get to the inside. From today's moto GP footage, fans look like having access. We'll see eh? Unfortunately, do to funds, liability insurance has not been aquired so I won't be able to come your side of the fence. :(

There will no doubt be an official photographer there, and if it's the same as cadwell's they'll be wanting £35 for a CD with about 25 photographs on (my cadwell DVD had over 1000). Though the official one will all be of you, I noted that the official guy at Cadwell only stayed at Mountain and the shots on offer were various angles from that position. :(

Anybody interested put your name on the list below and if poss a link to a pic of you/your bike so I know who to look out for on friday.

I'm interested in pics ... i'm the one with the slightly scratched GSXR 1000 Phantom - probably be the only phantom there, and the only one scratched no doubt!! lol

Last time I did Donnington trackday (some 3yrs ago), the official photographer charged £20 - and for that you got between 6-8 printed photographs sent to your door -- personally I thought it was well worth it, and the pics were fantastic; obviously copies of digital photos on CD/DVD are even better.

I can't post pics of my bike as I've just put new unpainted track fairings on. So look out for a black K4 Gsxr 750 with white front fairings. Hopefully get my Gixerjunkies stickers on!

Got a 300mm lens and by the looks of the bridges over the track I may be able to get to the inside. From today's moto GP footage, fans look like having access. We'll see eh? Unfortunately, do to funds, liability insurance has not been aquired so I won't be able to come your side of the fence. :(

If I remember right they will not let you inside the track at all - all photo will need to be from the out side of the track

Well it didn't turn out too bad, and not much time lost considering the whole morning went out the window! The sun was out by 2:30 and I got a little burnt!! Can tell you I wasn't expecting that when I was sat in the coppice tunnel hiding!! :lol:

I still haven't worked out how to take account for the sun. Even tried switching to manual everythin!! Cadwell's weather was much better for guys like us!!
