Did Anglesey on Sunday and i can honestly say it was a fantastic track .
The tarmac is fairly new and dead smooth
You get a great tight right hander (second corner) that gets tighter and off camber a nice back straight with 2 right kinks leading into a tight left right then at the end you get a version of the corkscrew (Laguna Seca)
It took me 7 hrs from Kernow but well worth the jant
Wales again this Sunday (Pembrey) 14th
jealous jealous jealous would love to do anglesey
superfli

Anglesey is on my next to do list. I've heard nothing but great reports of it.
I'm finished for trackdays this year, but come May, I'll be hoping to pop my Anglesey cherry.
So tell me, are you Woodys (Mark) mate then? :D

yeh mark came up with me and two other mates
Ahhh.
I was gonna come up but it was fully booked.
Mark said it was awesome but a 7 hour drive isn't good.
So, has the bald goaty on got any quicker since he bought a proper bike?

i've done 7 days at angelsey this year, and i love the place.
easily one of the best tracks in the UK, and when they finish the kerbs, and re-do the garages, it will be fantastic.

yeh a few finishing touches left but still great
Anglesey looks fantastic.
Really hoping to get there next year too. Seen a few folk on forums say it was excellent now and mags that have visited have loved it too.

I've done Brands x2,donny,silverstone,cadwell x2, mallory, pembrey x2,and i would say its a toss up between cadwell and anglesey for top spot
Completly agree 100%, love the place, planning on at least 3 visits next year.
Really? It must be an amazing track. I'm still a rookie at trackdays and have only done Knockhill (albeit about 6 times in the last 2 years) but want to try one or two down south in 2008.
I'm definitely keeping my eyes open for a date at Angelsey then!
Cheers.

Awesome, super cambered, smooth beauties! :boobs:
A good mix, from very tight and blind, to wide and smooth slingshots.
Theres such a camber on the second turn (big right) you feel like you could get it horizontal!!!
Go there.
so brands indy or noo ???
heres a link to some onboard footage of the coastal circuit.

It does look awesome but it's such a loooooooooooooooong way to go from down here.
Cadwell's 5 hours away and that's bad enough.
Do they have plans to replace the cones with kurbs at some point? :D

How'd the ol thou treat you at Donny? Guess shes tamed if your up for a Brands'in!
not tamed it yet thats why i need another day,was quicker round donny on the old 853 than i was on the gixer, gave it to much respect me thins.
unfortunately there aint a lof of good weekend options avialable now so brands indy it will be,it seems no limits are basing themselves at cadwell and mallory for most of the weekend dates they have left.
whens your next one then buddy

Dunno yet, will let you know...
Get some slicks on the girl now and wind her open...no point trusting 170 rubber munchers to a set of vipers...I did and signed my name round pembrey! 3rd first corner and 12th by the flag! :HB: I got some used bridgies with a day left...cheap like?
wayne'll take the bridgies off you providing there free of course . . . . .
its too much money for a set of slicks with my lack of ability and confidence, the vipers are fine with me gently winding the throttle on.

Wayne can take a long jump...
off a steep cliff .......
keeps saying hes going to pay you . . .
. . . . . . . . . . . . one day, LOL
might not be brands but donny full gp on monday the 12th instead and i may have space on the trailer . . . . . .
Ive done 4 days at anglesey, 2 days on the coastal circuit and 2 days on the international circuit, both fantastic and there are some really good overtaking places so good for watching some racing too.
Only problem i had was spinning up on the big right hander, i think a few people have had the same problem, solved this by speaking to maxton and they said up the rebound 3 clicks at a time till it stops (i did 6 clicks), tried it the other week and it worked a treat (still got enough tread for oulton this week), so give it a go if its happening to you.
Other wise the track will only get better when there are kerbs etc! :D
