VERY cheap (£90 delivered) I figured it was worth a punt, I'll let you know what they are like when they turn up, might even try them out on the road Saturday :D

Euroquip are very good, and that's a bloody good price.

They make warmers for Harris who have there own logo put on them, and they cost a tad more than 90 bucks I can tell you.

The ones I've just bought are very much the same and I'm well pleased with them, and they were £200.

good price . I supose its down to a couple of things though if you just do

1 or 2 trackdays a year borrow a pair not really worth shelling out for them to sit in the garage.

5 - 10 then I'd get a set of my own if I were you but no need to go mad aslong as they warm the tyres they'll do.

15 - 20 defo get your own and spend a little more so they will last.

20 + and racing this is where it get serious and you should be "investing" in a good set of well made warmers.

just my thoughts on warmers :D

I'm in the 5-10 bracket.
I bought some Moto GP warmers cos they were all I could get at track side when my Harris warmers packed up and thought, "aslong as they warm the tyres they'll do"

Buying something to make do isn't always the best option.

Euroquip make warmers for, amongst others, Mclaren, Lotus, Honda.

The ones I am getting are thermostatically controlled, LED indicators, can leave them turned on when not on the tyres, so seem pretty good

I've just brought some Diamond ones. They were £150 which seems a lot but it seems you get what you pay for when it comes to warmers. They also warm to 95 degrees rather than the usual 80.

The only disappointment is that they are draw cord rather than elasticated but apparantly this is better???

Yeah, a mate of mine has some diamonds, I used them at Silverstone this year, first time on warmers, gotta say the confidence factor was excellent, and no cold tear

I got a set of diamond ones when i bought my race bike and they have been ace, although im thinking of getting some respro over skins. A few times at anglesey its been a bit windy and it has really cooled the warmers down.

Demon tweeks do them £36.99, dont know if they are of any use to anyone, but i have seen them in the paddock at race meets. :D

Quick update.

Warmers are pretty good, don't heat the wheels as much as the Diamonds, tyres were pretty hot though. Will deffo need skins in the open.

One thing to change was the little springs clips that hold the elasticated draw cords, for larger ones. The ones they come with are too small to get both ends of the draw cords through, without a lot of fiddling (not something I want to do at the track).

To sum up, at half the price of Diamonds, well worth it for track days

heard a guy saying that he replaced the drawcords with 8mm bungee cord from B&Q turning them into elasticted sides..What do you think.good mod for them?

Good idea. The drawcords aren't as much as a ball ache as I thought they'd be but if I do get bored then I'll try this.

They also make the budget HPS ones, which I have, and they heat the tyres up good and proper.

regardless of whether they have thermostats or not, unplug your warmers when not fitted to the wheel. i've seen several small fires caused by people not unplugging them after removal.

Draw cords are already elasticated, and sticthed in the centre which helps
