Had a flipping ace day today at Donny with the Feisty Racing (Clicky) (http://www.bikegirl.co.uk/ladies/feistyracing.html) ladies track day......

......wasn't quite ladies only as you were able to 'bring a boy' :)

Me n Scottyh, Factory Pilot and Tracy, Woody#184 and Sally all were there today representing the Junkies :D

Brilliant day, started off damp but dried out pretty darn quick and with only 38 people booked (that's in total) the GP circuit was even more of a bargain at just under £100

Such low numbers meant just two groups (novice and inters/fast) which left me in with Scotty and the other axe murderers  and there were loadsa sessions :D

Rep to Tracy and Sally who did us gurls proud ;) and to the boys for being soooo supportive and very good pit biatches ;)

Was lovely to see our special visitors (you know who you are :)) and even tho my day started at 3am today I'm stull buzzing from it all.....

Feisty Racing (BikeGirl) track days recommended and Track Attack did a damn fine job too............thanks one and all for HUGE grins! :D :worship:

sorry Tracy I didn't get any pics of you going round but I think FP has a few hundred ;) lol.........oh and a little snippet from the last session......

I've got to say that was the best track day I've done so far and I've done one or two.
Very relaxed atmosphere, no rushing around changing tyres or flapping about not getting enough track time.

£95 (with a little help from our junkies discount. :D) for the GP circuit with only 38 people turning up and running two groups.
20 mins on and 20 mins off and 7 sessions in total (although I skipped the first one and was Zukis pit bitch:D) was hard work but well worth the stiff arms, shoulders, back and legs today.

I think there were only 2 red flag all day and Track Attack did really well dragging bikes out of the gravel under yellow flags to keep the sessions going.

Wet start to the day which was fun sliding around on Super Corsas but soon dried up and was grippy as hell in the afternoon and I had a riot ragging around with Woody#184 for a couple of sessions, and you passing me round the outside at the old hairpin with your wets on was awesome, and your deffo quicker on that gixxer than you ever were on your SP1.:worship: :worship: :worship:
Sally looked very much at home and very cool and calm about the whole day considering it was her first track day.
Think that must be down to being dragged around with Woody#184 club racing and being a top top pit girl a very very supportive to you Mark.
That girl is a star.:D

Factory pilot was a cool as a cucumber as ever and having much fun from what I saw.
Hope you weren't offended by my Maddmat type waving.
Considering Tracy was riding around like "what the hell am I doing here" she really got into it come the afternoon and got quicker and quicker down the start finish straight and later and later on the brakes into Redgate.
I do hope we'll be seeing more of Tracy on track.:D:D:D

Was great following Zuki round for a couple of laps and gave me big smiles watching her drop down Craner Curves like she'd been there 100 times before:worship: :worship: :worship:
Something tells me we'll be going to Donny again soon but not sure there will be so many wanna be girl club racers for you to take the mick out of.
I was very proud of my Dorris yesterday.:worship:

Like I said, I had SUCH a nice day yest, which is mainly down to the company I was with, (and an empty track.) Thank you very very much. :D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D

what a bloody andsome day:wh:
couldn't have asked for more...booked with the intention of spending a good day out with mrs fp and letting her out on her first trackday(she did 4 laps at caddy in 04 over 2 sessions but an egotistical male made her feel unwelcome:mad: ..did catch up with him on a later session and watched him bin his brand new cbr 600rr just before barn right in front of me...he was ok broken wrist:gix: his pride was somewhat dented especially when tracy waved to him as he was getting in the ambulance:whistle: ) and boost her confidence.both objectives completed:worship: thanks to the instructor showing her around for a session and the words of encouragement from uncle scotty.gemma.sally and mark :worship:
thanks to smiler. leon and girly for your support on the day too was nice to have time for a bit of a chat:ws:
thanks to fiesty ladies and track attack..organisation was A1 and day went like clockwork:worship:
thanks scotty for takin the time to turn around and wave to me as you passed me on the outside round coppice:sb: i kept close enough to you after to see you wheelie out of goddards then i thought you looked like you were havin fun so i dropped back to leave you to it:gix:
my rear tyre size and sprocket change mods were got used to by the end of the day:b3:
i even got a session out on the vfr :ws: :ws: that was so cool to go out and rag it for a session then come back into pits and say to trace (waiting to jump straight on)there you go tyres warmed for you :beach:
BIG THANKS TO YOU ALL FOR AN EXCELLENT DAY...FROM BOTH OF US:ws: :ws: :ws: looking forward to the next:thumbsup:

looks like you all had a great day, will go to the next ladies day ( when is it ) as the wife passed her a1 test last week. i know shes technically restricted to 33bhp but did anyone check the restrictions on licences??

zuki
28-10-2007, 23:12
they didn't actually check licences, but made you sign a declaration to say you had one.....I guess if something went wrong the liability would be on you....

and yeah FP that pic is the moment you lapped him ;)

Great day...
Bit of wet practice in the morning then turned out nice again.
An empty Dony was a real treat...plenty of room for mixed pace groups...and a few flying laps for me and Scotty :gix:
It was ace to have the girls out on track...would have been even better if they had open pit, and we could all go out together.
Sall loved it, dispite a couple of near offs! Makes you faster! Awesome to have her yippin about the day on the way home instead of just me

Managed to follow Zuki for a couple of laps...thought we had some video, but it all went pete! Next time eh..

Whens the next one....:acute:

Such a shame you didn't film those sessions cos I think it's safe to say we were tearing the place up with our tandem get out of the way we're coming through style which would of been so funny watching back again
I've much respect for you Mark, and I learnt some new stuff from you that day. :worship:

I can't get over how empty that place was though, and I'm still buzzing from it.:D:D:D:D:D:D

Something dawned on me today.
Zuki says she likes the more fiddly roads/tracks rather than big fast sweeping bends, but after watching her drop down Craner Curves I think she can re write her book of likes, and dislikes cos there aren't many balls out sweeping corners like Craner.

you have your first stalker fan in scotty

People only ever get reminded of the things they do wrong in this life, so to give someone praise when it's deserved can only be a good thing. :b5:
Stalker, and praise are two very different things you balloon. :a5: :D
