View Full Version : Silverstone, Oulton or Mallory
I have been to cadwell and im going to risk it for sat the 17th at either silverstone, oulton or mallory. Any advise would be great. Looking at the tracks on you tube, silverstone is looking good. any feedback is welcome.
Cheers all

They all pretty different tracks mate... what sort of tracks do you like?
Oultons narrow, Mallorys technical and siverstone is fairly fast and flowing.

And why isn't Donnington on your choice list?? ;-)

Well done that man... yeah Donny is a class track, bit of everything and not a single corner that dont pump your adrenaline to the max.

I'm a bit biased I guess - i've only done 2 trackdays to date - both at Donnington; once on my Thunderace (scraping he exhaust can on the ground around the Melbourne loop) and once on my GSXR1000.
Both times were an absolute hoot! It's a fantastic track

Silverstone is VERY wide and fast, actually quite good if you're prone to over cooking it a little, so long as your not flat out, there's plenty of room to correct errors and not hit the dirt.
A couple of seriously fast corners too

Yeah a strange one that - I have lost count of novice track riders that have said they were scared of Doni or Oulton but were booking a day at cadwell cos its easy !!!
I mean how many chicanes? the hairpin and Gerards all in a tight little lap... bloody hard work in my book
