Im trying to decide wether or not to devote all my spare time to club racing,
i love track days.. im not scared of going fast ect.. however i am aware that these are NOT the fundimentals of wanting to race..

i was looking at the miniTwin series and entering my SV.. its going to cost alot but im prepaired to payfor it.. ive wanted to race as long as ive been into bikes..
ive checked online to look into possibilities and its very text book,

is there anything that anyone can advise on getting started on racing?
Also does anyone need a photographer

You won't regreet but will later if you don't. SV's a good way to go.

A simple piece of advice - DON'T DO IT !!!

It takes up all yer time
It takes up all yer money
It costs a fortune
It's bloody dangerous
It's fast
But by crikey it's fun !!!!!
Get out and do it and enjoy it, at least you can say you tried it, and the lads will always help you out.

Enjoy yourself and good luck !!!

Its hard work, great fun, expensive, painfull (first weekend racing ever in March 2007, broken collar bone, broken hand and 2 cracked ribs), but I could not to get back on and so want the next season to start. The sv minitwins is a good start and seems fun for those in the class. Any specific questions or advice please ask. What club are you thinking of racing in?

give it a go mate, you'll regret it when your in ya bed chair racin down the corridors of the nursing home!!! might be more cost effective to sell ya road sv and buy a ready prepped one, work it out. don't forget ya costs of wets on wheels, generator some spares. you'll love it, always plenty of rookies and most clubs are dead friendly. Everyone started at sometime mate. if its not for you then you'll have a sweet sv for trackdays eh
