Read somewhere that some tracks dont allow it, and the ones that do aslong as its securely mounted and the scrutineers (sp?) check it, should be fine, but im sure guys who know what they are talking about will come along :p
There's no problem with using cameras at most places. You just need to make sure it is securely fastened and doesn't interfere with moving parts, steering or the rider's ability to part company with the bike. Some tracks might insist that you sign a disclaimer before going on track. All this does is prevent it being used in any legal capacity to sue the circuit. Quite a few of us regularly use on board cameras to assess where it is going wrong. A word of warning though, tuck it out of the way otherwise you wil have every poseur hanging around you just to try and get themselves on film.
Last time i went to Donny there was a company there who were hiring out bike mounted cameras for about £35 for the day :D
So i can't see it being a problem
I think you'll find that's per session. If it's the same company, Fastbike? You got a discounted rate for booking more sessions with the usual deal being all am sessions or all pm sessions. Far cheaper to buy your own in the long run. www.dogcamsport.co.uk I think.
Fook knows, Might well have been
Was only answering the "Can i use a camera on my bike a Donny" question anyway :p
Donny dont have a problem with filming, I should be bringing a camera along.
I've seen people sat on pit lane waiting to go out get sent back to their garage after being told to remove them.
Most people that do have cameras put them in places were they can't be seen. ;)
The only thing visible on mine is the lead over the tank to the camera, everything else goes under the seat pod.

Did quite a bit of research and seems 4Kam do one of the best value set ups, was about to buy one then noticed this thread. .

Group buys, love it!
This was shot using a DV500 solid state recorder on high quality, (that slows footage down and makes the files difficult to download due to the size so always use medium quality peeps), and a Dogcam 480 bullet camera. All kit was supplied by Dogcamsport.
