I remember doing Donny the day after boxing day 2 years ago and it was 4c.
Couldn't feel my fingers after 15 mins so had to come in early every session but it was one of the best track days I've ever done because it was dry the likes of wimps like Gaz didn't turn up so the track was empty. :D

The BBC weather forecast this morning (for tomorrow) suggested that the entire country will be p*ssed upon heavily from early doors, breaking up in the Donington area around 11ish followed by scattered showers.

That'll be me heading up in to the loft tonight then trying to find where I put the waterproofs that I never use for the ride down tomorrow. Could somebody please take a towel and have the kettle on for about 7.30? Mine's a hot chocolate with whipped cream, a flake and some of those tiny marshmallows. Thanks :lmao:

From watching the Beeb weather just on TV ... it looks like today is going to be mostly dry with a few scattered showers developing in some places (I think for my journey up today it'll be fine) --

tomorrow - blanket rain across pretty much all of the country, easing up a little - with scattered rain throughout.

So I think it'll be quite heavy rain early on in the morning, but it should ease with sunny intervals during the day ... from looking at most of the weather pics, I think best chance for no-rain and clear skies is around the late morning to early afternoon.

Last year did donny in July.... forcast said glorious sunshine.... peed it down soo heavy all morning we were not allowed out and the TDO and Donny marshalls were digging trenches to get the water to drain! we finally got released onto tracj at 11:30! (not impressed for a &#163;165 day !)
