We have just arranged the date for the 3rd Junkies Trackday :D
This will be run through No Limits
Date is Monday July 14th
To book your place you need to call 01727 899173
This Trackday will not be shown on the No Limits site until 1st June so you cannot book it online
Cost is £109 (saving of nearly £50) price includes our Discount
This will take part on the Full International Circuit
To start with OPEN TO GJ members + 1
Sound Limit is 105db
OK this is the important part
There will be 3 groups of 50 Novice Inters and Fast and we have until 1st of June to fill this day thats 8 weeks
But depending on how full if not full then Mark at No Limits reserves the right to compress and swap groups SO WE NEED TO FILL THIS
All the facilities will be there ie Smallboys Trackbike Hire, Trickbits, Suspension set up and also On Board Video
I have started a thread of whos booked and into what groups like the last time when you book let me know and i will add you to the group

No chance of you just pottering round like half of us were at Doni? It wasn't exactly full-on for quite a few of us - more a sort of ride-out on track with a few mates :)
Yep get yourself in Novices and just take it easy. If you don't feel up to the whole day stop.

I'm in but the only problem is how loud is 105db?
I'm running a full Aky race system.....i dont think it's AS loud as the Yoshy I had on my 600 but how do i get it tested?

You should be OK. Akras seem to be quieter than most. My Akra's highest test result was at Snett 104 db. Usually a tester at the circuit (MSV tracks any way)
My full Akra Evolution system without baffle at Snetterton was 100db on the nail

I've done Rockingham in a Ferrari, and a Lambo, and been to a mates track day there, so i might try and bring a few along.
When can i get the others in on this, and do they have to pay full price?. Basically if i call up now and book 5 people, only one being a junkie can i pay the cheaper price, or will i pay the cheaper price for 2, and then have to wait untill the other date to book the other 3 on full price?

Just my bogey track. I was on the very first trackday held there, the fire engine was out washing the mud off the track where the JCBs had driven across it. My brother in law decided that his brakeing marker for the first corner was a JCB. Worked great in the morning, but after lunch they moved it. So he ended up going round the banking.......**** :lol:
Next t/d was the one the day after Hizzy hit the wall in 02 iirc (was in the stands about 20foot from where he hit on the day) so was put off just a bit
Last day there I chewed a Super Corsa in two sessions. Bad suspension setup was the cause of that one
I don't think its any more dangerous than other tracks in the UK, Its just that I don't like it. Could never get a decent lap ( by my standards anyway, sets the target low and regularly fails to achieve :D ) If I could get to grips with it then I'm sure I'd like it better

never once seen any sound checks carried out at rocky my yoshi would make your ears bleed last time i checked it at home was running at 114db never had any problems with it there and ran that pipe there the last 6 times.

Matey have seen you on track twice before, your as smooth as silk go on give her a go, at least you will know how she feels etc as opposed to getting on an unfamiliar machine.
Just my opinion, obviously.

Well myself and Zuki haven't done Rockingham yet and it's not a track before so it'll be nice to learn a new one, but my mate Mr Alex has done it a few times and loves it so that's good enough for me. :D
Mr Alex will be coming as my +1 and I'll let you know when he's paid up.

Well I did give GIxerGaz a convoluted excuse for not going (via PM).....recall on the Blade tank can you believe it....Honda build quality bah!......thats been sorted now....also I'm a wimp as you know and weather did nothing to inspire me to come along I'm ashamed to say.......so for the third time of asking I'm in for Rockingham and I will deffo be attending rain or shine....if not you have permission to impale me with my Boudica axle spikes:get:
Just to end on a happy note the lovely Caroline at Donny has given me a full refund credit as well and I am looking at Donny on 22nd May now as the next day is Blade II also at the track, heresy I know on a gixer site but apparently the first celebration was by all accounts a cracking little affiar so rude to refuse especially as I can stay over in a B & B.....

WooHoo, instructor say "yes" now the hard bit of getting my Divisional Officer to agree, he was my DO when I came off at Cadwell and also when I went to court for 106mph on me Trumpet and has lost friends to bike accidents so as you can imagine is a bit anti-bike. Still; half way to being able to book with no-limits! :thumbsup:

Been to Rockingham twice and it was an easily accessible circuit with a decent paddock and grandstand so should be a good choice for a trackday compared to donny which is a swamp in the rainy MotoGP experiences :mmm:

Rang at about 10 am. Got the on hold message for about 90 seconds then got through. Had to phone them about 5 mins later and they picked up straight away. Used the "HOT LINE" you know, the big red flashing phone!:thumbsup:
