Who have you used and what did you pay ?

I used Paul Russo (I think it was the name - booked through no limit's) to do Donnington with last year. Cost £190 + £15 fuel for 3 sessions !

Had a £250 excess for the bike I stacked at Cadwell last year! Paul was fantastic about it and refused to even talk about me paying it till I was home and out of hospital a month later, top guy he was... is! :D:D:D

I would recommend Smallboy track bikes...Hired a K2 600 first time at Donny then shared with Scarecrow the K2 750 at Junkies trackday... It was great cus you never had to worry bout anything if you didn't feel anything was right they would do there best to change it for you. Matt and his dad Neil were just lovely and friendly and I can't big them up enough ...

It cost me £170 first time round and then I shared the cost with Scarecrow at GJ track day so that was kool. Although the excess is £400 if you totalled the bike, but not if you say dropped it and bust a lever or what ever, just depends on the damage...

Anyway seriously if you don't want to take your bike round the track, try out smallboy and they will treat you well and personally I think it was worth every penny!! :b12:

The G/F got it for me as part of the whole birthday thing but it was booked throught Hottrax, there's a link on their website

The guy was fantastic, especially because it was pouring rain. He had two r6's fully set up and tweeked for Brands tyre warmers the lot. It felt like my team!! two bike one with full wets the other with intermediates!!

However what I found most useful was all the advice he gave.

As for the excess, luckily I didn't find out but I'm pretty sure it was £250. But he told the bike was better then I'd ever be and if I low sided it he wouldn't charge me the excess!!

I'm in 2 minds about taking the RC8 on track at the moment - really want to but I'm also considering the option of hiring a trackbike for the day.

Is anybody else considering hiring, but not yet sorted out? Reason I ask is that we may be able to get a deal for 2 or more bikes.

I just booked the smallboy's modified 600. 180 quid. I tried to ring them all day, couldnt get through, so sent them an email with my contact details. Matt (owner) rang me at 9 oclock to appologise. They sound like great blokes!
