View Full Version : 2008 TT
So its nearly TT time, most of us had our favourite spots to watch. I said 'HAD' cos a lot of places are now prohibited areas! So if you're going, where will you be watching from? and dont say on the sofa watching it on telly!!
I have no idea mate.... I have never been before, and I'm dead excited ha ha... any recommendations? I don't even know where I'm camping
A lot of the good spots are now prohibited, a good place to go on the first practice on saturday is outside the quarterbridge pub, watching the look in the riders eyes as they go through for the first time on cold tyres!
I'm not getting there til Wednesday, just found out I am camping 3 miles from Douglas along the Union Mills stretch (I think that's what he said), the campsite is actually on the circuit so in theory we don't even have to walk further than the edge of the field
I'm going for the Saturday racing but not sure of where we'll be, be close to the action and some beer thou
mountains best.
union Mills is good too but you have to view the action at ballough (*sp) bridge.... excellent pic ops there.

Not going this year, but I like either the gooseneck or the swiss chalet at Glen Helen.

change about for the different days - like the mountain though!
Going over Thursday/Friday anywhere there is a good view that's it for me.:gix:
Anyone living on the island happy for me to come round and ditch photos onto their pc... I only have a 128XD card and although I have been offered bigger ones my camera rejects them... I'm going to cry if I can only take 60 photos LOL
