Umming and arghing about whether to go on the 14th. Its my birthday (18) and I would really love to go, but its alot of money for a wee 17 year old like me and I'm struggling to sort out a van. What is the current law, car license and over 25 or 21? Also, should i be taking the indicators off and numberplate etc? Ive heard things like that are done to stop distractions on the track.

Go for it. It's what your bike would want...
P.S. It's your mirrors you want to take off or fold-in to avoid distractions. Indicators can stay on, but try not to use them...

If you're following some other silly sod who decides, for no good reason, that they should myopically leave the tarmac and head for the nearest grass/gravel/cesspit because they've convinced themselves that their bike can't go round the corner.....
a) DON'T FOLLOW THEM - Ignore them completely for the moment.......
b) Look thru the corner and LEAN your bike (your tyres are brilliant you'll find)
c) Get thru the corner AMAZINGLY easily and feel Feckin Great
d) DON'T Think about the bloke up to his axles in the kitty litter
e) YOU DID ? now you'll possibly fall off 'cos you're laffing so much
f) Ignore d) and e) above at your peril....personal experience.
Do it !!! Biggest, Safest Grin Factor known to man.

What they said........then you'll find out how much grip your tyres have really got.
Although after my first trackday & subsequent kneedown, I thought I would be a riding god on the road.
Next time out with the lads I rode like a complete cock. Made a mess of everything.
