So we leave about 3pm, with Adams (Peo122), Steves (Kappa636) and my bikes in the £30 transit van with all our gear and camping bits. We heard a knocking sound coming through the town, which soon goes, only to get much much worse about half a mile up the road (still in the town):

So after we have changed the wheel (stud holes completly mullered) we got on our way.

The next morning there was more van related troubles, sorry I cant remember your name but you will remember this! :

Thats Pete(247)'s van reluctantly getting shillyed, trying to bump start the stranded renault. If I heard right it was left there for the AA to sort out?

Thanks mate, I was a trackday virgin so didnt fully know what to expect, the instructor on the yellow R1 flew past me on the straight so I tried to keep up with him and got a couple of clear laps in following so that helped no end.

Rhys I have a high res version of that pic if you want it?

Was that the STRAD in the novice group?

If so sincere apololigies for pushing you out very wide on coming out of the hairpin.... I heard you, saw you, which put me off and I made a f*cking hash of trying to get out of your way :HB: Sorry... but by god you were quick, :worship: I tried to keep up, but last session of the day I really didn't want to bin it being a hero!!!

Scaredy, get some track fairings on it, does wonders for confidence, I certainly wouldnt want to risk my lovely repsol rep fairings on the track!

Thanks for the comments guys, I'm really hooked now, I can see all my cash is going on TD's, tyres and fuel lol!

great pics mate, was good to meet you, soz I was a tad grumpy-gills, was feelin pretty hung over in the am and was really quite rough in the afternoon hence only doin 1 of the pm sessions!

No worries Pete, was funny you were lively on the sunday, monday was another story haha, maybe waking up to shillys glowing balls didnt help matters?!

Luxy I left the tubes off, didnt want to smash them in an off and the figures I've seen show they do feck all under 150 anyway, I certainly noticed no difference...

Does make it look a bit bare though, need some damaged or repaired ones really. Keeping my eyes peeled on the bay

was thinking of shit just flying in the gaps aswell, on the front of the tubes u got the mesh bits to stop big bits & bobs

when i get round to doing a trackday, ill use my current ones for it, cause...

A: im claiming on them cause theres a crack in one

&

B: for a literally head on crash, they didnt smash to peices etc so id say an off on a track they'd survive
