Chris Walker wins his first WSB race at a very wet Assen after starting from the back of the grid and going off at the first turn and being last.

Haga dumped it whilst leading by 20secs and the conditions also claimed the likes of Bayliss, Corser, Yuki, and Chilli.

Think it is thoroughly deserved for Chris and the look on his face when he was interviewed after the race was priceless.

Well done Chris, come a long way since I lent him a battery at a Derby Phoenix Club race coz he forgot his for his RGV250! He was wearing an orange bib then!!!!!!!

I was on the edge of my seat at the end of that race praying that he stayed on! I've met him a few times and hes a really nice approachable guy,always got time for photos etc.I'm really chuffed for him,nice one.:a1:

Chris is great , he deserved the, win couldnt believe he done it and it really made my day, nearly had a man moment lol.He's had some real bad luck over the last few years lets hope its changing for the better. :gazzer:
