lads, never mind watching it on the telly, get a ferry to dublin and get over to watch them live, ferries ain't that expensive and to watch one of these races is around €20 for the weekend in southern ireland and around £20 in northern ireland, very relaxed and usually a bar or two on the course and sometimes camping or cheap b+b's, two races very close to dublin, only 15 minutes from ferry terminal (skerries + killalane) kells is only 45 minutes from dublin

got to agree with the above

imo, 'real' road racing is far better to watch live than on tv, there's nothing like being sat on a bank or peering out a hedge on a good section, and the irish national tracks still allow spectator spots that even the big ones like the TT or NW200 don't anymore, crazy really but enjoy it while you still can
with cheap flights to ireland, like the above said, skerries & killalane are'nt far from the airport, or get a ferry and take your bikes and take in some 'laps'! can assure you places like tandragee will blow your mind

i've raced at cookstown, tandragee, bush, athea, skerries, walderstown amongst others, but still i get a buzz watching road racing like i never do watching at say donington :bla:

it was on 19th and 20th july this year, most of the irish road races keep the same dates/weekends every year and in july there is a race every weekend, it is probably the best for jumps, its been on sky motors channel a few times this week.
