I think it's a great idea. He'll spend all season complaining about how crap the K7 is, so no-one will buy one, and the value of my K5 thou will therefore increase.
Nice one Max :D

And hopefully reduce the value of the K7 so I can eventually get one for pennies!!!

I haven't heard chutney ferret said for a ages thats a quality saying
Not a blargi fan either, what's happening to kagayama.
According to the chip wrapper(MCN) he's going into the Alstare engineering team

Hopefully coming back to BSB he has unfinished business
The Rumour around the paddock is that he wants to return to BSB. He is happy living in the UK (to many knocks to the head if you ask me) likes the series and mores the point, really appreciates how the Brits have adopted him.
The only stumbling block is that his contract is not with Alstare Engineering. It is with Suzuki Japan and he gets loaned out where they feel he is needed to support Factory supported teams.
He could go to BSB, back to the Japanease series or even a Suzuki Satalite team in MotoGP for 2007.
Lets keep our fingers crossed that we get him back. He is one Gutsy, entertaining rider who just never gives up. All through his last season with Rizla he was riding in severe pain and a coulostomy fitted.. Makes me wince at the thought of it.
I'd love to see Yuki back in BSB, he da man!

Don't get me wrong here - Not a Biaggi fan either. but........
It's got to be good for the WSB paddock hasn't it ?
I mean Barros and Abe havent exactly set he world on fire this year.
OK so Bayliss has, but he returned to his beloved Ducati..
If Toseland has GP aspirations or any other WSB rider for that matter, then seeing and beating these ex MotoGP winners has to be good...
Doesnt it. ?
....
WSB next year.
Bayliss / Hodgson
Corser / Biaggi
Haga / Edwards
Toseland / Barros
All sounds pretty cool to me. :b11:

i personally would have been happier if an up and coming star from the lower ranks was given the ride, not saying max is a has been but he has limited shelf life.....bit like a semi rotten tomato

gotta be good for the series.....just wish the tosser was on a different bike then I would'nt mind hoping he falls of all the time, and if he spends so much time in front of the mirror why o why cant he get that pussy stripe on his chin straight or realise that it just looks sh!t, tw@t
Obviously I am in the minority here - but I actually like Biaggi (Ahem - as a rider anyway - need to clear that up ;))
Good luck to the guy

Maybe he could ride for Rizla suzuki in BSB instead. 'cept MCN go on about some 'personality clash' between him and Simon Buckmaster who will be the new team manager next year I think.
Whats that all about then ?
A little bird in the know told me that Yuki has the other Alstare Ride as the No 1 Bike, with Biaggi as No2. Corser is signing on at the DHSS so far for next year.
Hopefully that little bird got the facts right, we'll have to wait and see.
It also cheaped that Lavilla is partnering Bayliss next year and that Haslem is staying with Airwaves, probably in BSB.
As for the Rizla bikes, They have offered contracts to half the paddock so far. They had offered Lavilla an amazing deal but he obviously hasn't forgiven them for the way they treated himtwo years ago, and who can blame him.

I hear James Ellison has a deal sorted, but he's not saying where yet. Though I did read somewhere that he was on Rizla's list as well.

Remember - you heard it here first peeps ;)
Nice one Ali - that would actually be quite ironic if it does come to pass.
Corser was going on in the MCN this week about Biaggi having to alter his attitude if he wants to fit in with the team and the WSB paddock in general, inferring he has an attitude he didn't like in my interpretation - could be it won't matter so much to Troy after all :)

As long as he stays outta motogp who cares, his careers already over good riddence to bad rubbish!
If Corser is pushed out of the Alstare team it will be a shame, gave them their first world title, hasn't exactly been at the back of the field this year and they hand him his P45?
He'll walk into another ride and I wish the bloke well.
Ellison did a good job on a underfunded MotoGP bike on crappy Dunlops, I'd like to see him on a Gixer alongside Shakey.

That's a surprise comments from Bushiee46! The no.46 doesn't indicate that you are a Rossi fan does it?!
Max was one of the very few who could give it to Rossi on his day and there is still no doubt that he is one of the best riders in the world.
Personally, I hope Max does really well... so good luck Max!

I don't think anyone would say Max is a bad rider, on his day he could beat the best. BUT I think most people didn't/don't like him for his attitude, but mostly that poncey little goatie

Oi, I have a goatie!
I met Max at the Bologna motorshow in 2004 and there was not a hint of arrogance about him. Personally, I think the guy is just misunderstood. He is just passionate about winning and what he has achieved and maybe this comes across as being arrogant.
However, I do agree that he is a like him/loathe him kind of character.
only time will tell, it'll be good to watch.
Gixergaz
I think your probably right, alot of these characters don't seem to deal well with the media and the "mind games" played by other riders. I think anyone would agree Rossi is a master at manipulating the press and heaping pressure on his rivals and Max certainely suffered in 2004/5.
He's probably a nice guy if you met him away from the pressure of racing, but he really needs to either grow a proper goatie or have a shave!

Ha ha, yeh it might suggest i'm slightly biased!!
It was good to have him there for the rivalry but his blaming HRC wasn't the best career move to make so effectiveley he sealed his own fate with his attitude.
I think he'll do well for suzuki as he must be wanting to start winning again as he did when he was dominating 250s and it can only be good for gixxers to have such a big name riding the daddy of all gixxers!!

Max didn't say a bad word about Honda in 2003 or 2004 when his bike worked properly!
He only encountered problems in 2005 when he was lumbered with the development of the 06 RCV where Max encountered bad chatter problems that his team could not cure, so you can understand his frustration! Qualifying 16th and finishing 15th isn't something a 4 time world champion is going to enjoy is it, so there is no wonder he lost his wrag with Honda.
Where were the chatter problems in 03/04? When the bike worked properly in 05, he was up at the front!
Yes, Max has had plenty of chances in his 500/MotoGP career and no doubt would have been champion if not for Doohan and Rossi.

Ellison would do well on the Rizla Gixxer I reckon , but I think he might have a deal all sown up according to his own website ..
His last post in the forum was...
"Now Id like to keep you all updated on what is happening next year but if I told you I would have to kill you.... and you seem like very nice people so I will just have to wait untill things are finallised before I tell you all where I will be in 2007. Keep you updated as and when I can. "
Ilmor in motoGP I reckon... but we shall see.
If Shakey stays at Rizla who will be his team mate? I think Laverty was offered the ride, but it looks like he might go 250GP racing with Casey Stoners LCR team...
no i think he`s learnt his lesson ,and i hope he does really well, dont forget even though hes a moanin f**ker hes still a really good rider
