Arse!
I was going to get a Biaggi Alstare rep!
Doh!
....I must admit, that is very cheeky of Max and not out of keeping with his character!
Oh well, maybe I should sell my GSXR and get a Kawak....
NOT.
P.S. I guess this news (if true) makes a lot of GSXR owners very happy and some Kwaki owners not so!

i hope corsers tells em to fook off and signs for yamaha, i like corser but he a pratt if they ask him (suzuki) and he says yes.
Same with walker, just had a cracking race and i hope he has an equal 1 for the 2nd race and stops on the line and let every1 pass him, lol
You can't blame the team. They were desperate to keep Corsa. It was Suzuki Japan who insisted Yuki was on the second bike or no full factory support.

So who now then for the second seat (assuming the italian tit has screwed Suzuki over)
Hodgson? Pitt? Barros?
Like to see Walker but that'll never happen :(
Just goes to prove what I was saying other thread.
Biaggi = Shirt lifting, uphill gardening, chutney ferret, arrogant ****

Are the people on this thread who are slagging Biaggi going to take your insults back when it is confirmed that this thread is a load of bollox?
No OFFICIAL statement has been made about Biaggi going to Kawasaki and according to Francis Batta, the story is "fairy tale"! There is also nothing on any of the reliable Italian websites of such a move.
Therefore, I suggest you all give Max a break, for now at least!
....and Geordie, you need to chill man.
Gaz, I'm fully chilled (Stella is ice cold)
I just don't like him and if Corser has lost his Suzuki ride because of him, then I'll hate him eve more.
Biaggi is just one of these characters that you love or hate, personally I'm in the hate club.
You can't be all bad taste though as you have a Vermeulen rep, I think Vermeulen is great.

You cannot blame Biaggi for Corser losing his ride, it is Suzuki and Batta who are to blame for that. Max is just looking for a ride and nearly signed for them for this year, remember? Also, for what I have heard and read, Corser won't ride with Max anyway and it is Suzuki who chose Kagayama over Troy.
Fair enough, you don't like the guy, you are entitled to your opinon, however, unsurprisingly, I like the guy and wish him all the best, wherever he goes.
Just dont think he deserves slagging off for something he may not have even done! However, if Biaggi has signed for Kawasaki, then I agree that it is a shitty move to make and I hope Suzuki sue him and he will certainly go down in my estimation!
P.S. Thanks mate, yes, Vermin is great and will do even better in 07.
Post from Crash.net 09/10/06
"It appears that Alstare's ideal 2007 line-up would have been to place Biaggi alongside Corser and current team-mate Yukio Kagayama - and there are already three Alstare Suzukis, but only two are factory bikes (Max Neukirchner's Alstare Engineering entry is of 'standard' spec). But with Alstare (and FG Sport) having pushed hard for former MotoGP star Biaggi, Suzuki wanted to keep factory favourite Kagayama - who has enjoyed an impressive end to the 2006 season, winning three races - on the second factory seat."
Biaggi is going nowhere, in fact he is riding a GSXR1000 at Magny Cours as we speak!
Emotional weekend for Batta.
Motorsport commentator, Jonathan Green spoke with Francis Batta regarding Alstare Corona Extra Suzuki signing Max Biaggi but potentially losing Corser. "Big emotion because Troy is my rider and the last year was perfect season. This year is different, not many evolution," said Batta, "The decision for Max is the sponsor as Max is a big star. The decision is with Corona as the Italian market is very important for them. For me Troy will remain number one for me because it was first title for Suzuki in Superbike."
He quashed the other rumour regarding Alex Barros moving to the Alstare Engineering team which isn't factory backed, saying, "Barros, no, because a top rider need top material."
And when asked how he felt about Corser racing against his team next season Batta said, "Troy is very fast and will be top three."

Corser's Yamaha deal is done. they binned Pitt to get him on...Leaves Suzuki a bit out in the cold, but I guess thats another bridge burned by Biaggi... Top fella !!
Hodgson on the GSXR ? hmmm! maybe but I reckon He's looking for the Ducati ride.

Why am I not surprised to see the honest and faithfull Biaggi riding a GSXR at Magny Cours?
Max did sign a contract with Alstare and am very happy that he has stuck to it and has not gone back to the shithole that is MotoGP.
With ya all the way Max!
....Corona Extra Biaggi rep in 07? Just maybe.
