Tony Elias won the MotoGP in Portugal ahead of Valentino Rossi in a race that saw Dani Pedrosa crash into his teammate Nicky Hayden effectively ruining Haydens championship lead! Elias was a surprise winner in a race Rossi led most of and even at the last corner was in the lead but the power of Elias' Honda enabled him to beat Rossi by 0.002 seconds!!! Rossi now leads the championship by 8 points over Hayden!!

Know what you mean sir. Got caught out that way at the last GP. Don't mind the Post, but the title could be a little less descriptive for those of us who don't want to know the result after being out for the day.

Chris walker won the Race of the year by a Feckin Mile by the way.

It was the best race Ive seen for god knows how long. I really believe that Colin Edwards could have won from around lap 4 onwards. But instead he went round like a pussy and tried to keep everybody away from Rossi instead of getting on with the race. Team orders etc etc is ridiculous and should never be allowed. The result today went to the best rider on the day by far. If rossi wants the title he will have to ride for it. Hayden deserves it though in my eyes.:a13: :drew: :a9: :friends: :drink: :drink: :b1: :cry: :cry: Might be tempted to go to the last one now :beach:

It was a bad result for both the honda lads. But Dani was going for a win and nothing more, if the pussy edwards went for a win he might have done the same to rossi, but no ba**s and that spoils the whole meaning of racing in my eyes. I was personally really impressed with Edwards his loyalty to Yamaha really shone through today rather than Pedrosa's selfish attitude which ultimately cost Hayden his championship. I bet Hayden wishes HRC did have team orders now

I felt so gutted for Nicky Hayden, Pedrosa is a bit of an android with no personality and should have done for Hayden what Colin Edwards did for Rossi, "rode shotgun" but he fooked up big time and realistically blew Haydens chances. What an asshole!!
