Come on own up.

Didn't drop it on track but I did manage to drop the bike off its paddock stand in the garage when i was faffing around trying to work out why the front tyre warmer was not working :booboo::sh:

I did....right after the stop crashing debrief at lunchtime....

in my defence it is the first time I have ever crashed on a track it was very wet as it was the session straight after lunch and I was on a set of supercorsas amongst lots of people on wets. (bung in some excuses first!)

ironically I wasnt going to go out and didnt have my gear on, guy next to me in the pits talked me into it and I quickly bunged my gear on at the last moment and went out for a bimble to see if it was ridable....

I was sliding around quite alot, but it kept regripping and as I dont really mind a bit of a slide now and then - in my infinate wisdom I thought "this is fine I can control this"

I very nearly went down going through the chicane in the middle of the oval sections as I crossed the kerbing (bad idea riding over kerbing in the wet obviously) which I gladly didnt because your fair motoring at that point

then was trying to catch the wets fitted bike in front of me when my bike went into a big old slide at the first left heading towards gracelands...I waited for it to regrip but it didnt want to play so I gracefully slid though the corner and across the grass on my backside thinking that I really should get around to buying a back protector. (you can get a fair old distance covered on your back when the grass is wet  )

big big thanks to scotty, gemma and simon for getting my bike patched up and ready to go out again whilst I was visiting the medical centre to get clearance to go back out. to come back and find my bike not only ready to go but cleaned made me grin ear to ear. I doff my cap to you all :worship:

I have a vid of the dry fast group session before lunch i'll post it up later.

Yep I binned mine.......at about 20mph under waved red flags. Just watched some guy on a kwacka drop his which I got on my bike cam, as we were slowwing down and as I was thinking "poor sod" .......I then lent into the last hairpin and droped it myself and I got that on film too. In my defence it was bloody slippery out there as the rain came down.

Vids to follow!

I watched Fireskull go down........... passed me at a great speed and thought to myself, he's either quick in the wet or knows the track very well :D

haha :D bit of both I love that track and my tyres felt great everywhere else, I crapped myself every time I got to that corner after that :/
Felt a bit of a tit though as I had come past quite a few people the few corners before lol then end up in the grass :p

Rocki is notoriously bad in the damp.

I crashed twice in 2 laps doing CSS there on full wets :)

one generator cover = £105...thanks to suzukispares for the discount
left side footpeg for my VCR's = £25 (nice thing about gilles is you can buy component parts)
Left side engine crash bung and swing arm crash protector things = £55 (got a nice discount from the very helpfull chap at RG)
Roll of duct tape to patch the damage on my track fairing £4
New cheapo screen for my track fairing £25

so all in £214.....and with its road fairing back on it will be impossible to tell its slid along on its side for a good distance As everything else is completely unmarked.

RG's did a cracking job as did the Gilles rearsets - the bike basically slid along on the foot peg the engine crash bung and swingarm spindle crash bung.....ground the crash bungs right down to half of them missing and the footpeg had a fair bit ground off it to - but the three of them working together Kept pretty much everything else off the deck

that was me you was chasing , was a slow slid tho but you did pick up speed as you hit the grass , and it certainly tested my brakes to avoid hitting you .
This is my tyre after that session as they say it was like riding on marbles.

Looked much worse before I pulled all the mud off it :p I am really impressed with the gilles and pazzos and they were covered in mud and thought at least some of them would have been bent but nothing :D

I only recorded the one session - the dry one before lunch (posted already)....didnt bother turning it on for the damper sessions and I sat out that last session (and one of the morning ones).

which I had turned it on for the wet session I went out in just to get my crash for comedy value.
