Makoto Tamada has joined the Yamaha Tech 3 squad for 2007, replacing Carlos Checa who has moved to Honda with the LCR team.
Tech 3 will continue to develop the Dunlop MotoGP tyre, thus meaning that Makoto will have ridden for all three tyre manufacturers in successive years!
This just leaves three rides available in MotoGP in 2007. One at Kawsaki (heading for Jacque), a ride at D'Antin Ducati (heading for Hoffman) and a ride at the new Ilmor team.
